Officials of the Customs Administration – Anti-smuggling Department and Police Administration officers – Police station Podgorica, while undertaking measures and actions aimed at suppressing the grey economy and acting on the basis of operational information, found and seized goods worth over 55,000 euro by searching the unregistered business premises. Police officers have arrested a person suspected of the criminal offense of unauthorized trade

During the month of April, we have conducted 5,304 controls of vehicles and goods; seized goods worth 120,480 €; established value of the customs debt collection in the amount of 306,993 Euro

During the month of April 2019, the Customs Administration collected a total of 71,852,327.69 € representing the increase of revenue collection by 16.56% or 10.2 mil. € more compared to the same period of last year. A refund was made in the amount of 1,203,738.5 €, thus achieving net revenue collection of 70,648,589.19 € which is 8.83% more than the revenue plan

During the 18th Session of the Integrity Sub-Committee of the World Customs Organization, held on 11—12 April 2019 in Brussels, representative of the Customs Administration of Montenegro held a presentation entitled »Behavioural insights in respect to corruption and integrity as a preventive measure«.

In the period January-March 2019, the Customs Administration collected a total of 152,904,912.41 € representing the increase of revenue collection by 7.22% or 10.30 mil. € more compared to the same period of last year. A refund was made in the amount of 3,097,029.12 €, thus achieving net revenue collection of 149,807,883.29 € which is 4.05% more than the revenue plan
